Description: Sculpture is a self portrait as a statuette and architectural pedestal. The sculpture reflects on Helena, Montana and the still-standing remains of its nineteenth century gold mining industry and red light district. I wanted to flesh out musings on Helena, using my own body as the model - classical revival, gold lust, abrupt architectural slicing into organic form.
